I’m Max Zimmermann, an adventurous, kind, and curious storyteller drawn to spreading the stories found around me. I find meaning in the mundane, and this perspective fuels my passion for film and photography.
Born and raised in Whitehorse, Yukon, I grew up surrounded by nature. At 17, I moved to Italy and later settled in Vancouver, where the mountains and wild landscapes inspire me daily.
Professionally, I’ve just completed a diploma in Film and am now pursuing diplomas in Adventure Guiding and Tourism Management. My goal? To become an adventure filmmaker who reaches untouched places and reveals the world’s hidden beauty through story-driven visuals.
I’ve directed my debut short film, Solace, and gained valuable experience working on professional sets like Northern Tails and a Yukon tourism commercial. These opportunities have deepened my love for collaborative storytelling and sharpened my craft.
At my core, I’m motivated to tell our world's stories—stories that inspire others to see life differently and make meaningful change.
Travelling with my family during childhood ignited this passion and fueled my adventurous spirit. Outside of work, I seek out new adventures and love exploring the world, always looking for the next story to tell.
If you’re here to connect, collaborate, or learn a bit about who I am, I hope you come away feeling inspired by someone passionate, genuine, and ready to share the beauty of this world.
